Encaustic Wax Mixed Media on Cradled Birch Wood Panel

Encaustic mixed media artwork with "May things be good today" lettering in black on top a painting of sand pouring through the fingers of a set of hands onto a heap of found treasures. Materials used in original painting include: Encaustic medium (a blend of clear beeswax and damar resin), encaustic paints, oil sticks, India Ink, sea shells, sand, sand dollar, coral, sea glass, rusted key, nails and screws.
